Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed a set of match officials from Egypt to take charge of the game between Vipers Sports Club and Club Sportive Constantine due this Saturday.

The Venoms will face CS Constantine in the return leg of the first round of the CAF Champions League at St.Mary’s stadium.

Amim Mohamed Omar will be the centre referee and will be assisted by Samir Gamal Saad and Mahmoud Ahmed Abo El Regal all from Egypt.

It should be noted that the same set of referees officiated Uganda’s home encounter against Lesotho during the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, a game the Cranes won 3-0.

Our opponents who carry a 1-0 advantage arrived in the country on Wednesday afternoon.

The Venoms will thus seek to overturn the first leg deficit in order to book a berth in the group stage.

To reach this stage, we eliminated Sudanese outfit El Merreikh while Constantine ejected GAMTEL from Gambia.
