Venoms start Uganda Cup campaign against Rushekere

Vipers Sports Club has been pitted against Rushekere Growers FC at the round of 64 draw held on Monday at Kampala Serena Hotel.

The Venoms will kick start the campaign at home (St.Mary’s stadium) with Rushekere from Fort Port town.

Javier Martinez Espinosa’s side will be hoping to return to the final for the second successive time after reaching the final this year where we lost to KCCA FC.

The dates slated for the round of 64 stretch from 19th -28th December 2018 but the exact date of the game will be communicated later on.

Vipers SC won the Uganda Cup in 2016 defeating Onduparaka FC 3-1 in the finals and will hope to replicate similar performance in the 45th edition.

This week, we shall return to league action away to BUL FC in Jinja and later on face CS Constantine in the return leg of the first round of the CAF Champions League.
