Vipers Sports Club have confirmed their next opponent at the first round of the Total CAF Champions League.
The Venoms will face Club Sportive Constantine from Algeria after both teams advanced from the preliminary round.
The Algerian outfit edged past GAMTEL from Gambia 1-0 on aggregate to book a berth into the next stage.

On the other hand, Vipers SC won 1-0 at St. Mary’s stadium on Wednesday to qualify on away goals rule against El Merreikh after the first leg in Khartoum last week had ended 2-1.
Abraham Ndugwa scored the lone goal on Wednesday to guide Vipers SC to the first round, the first time the club has reached that stage.

Like it was the case at the preliminary round, Vipers SC will start away from home with the first leg slated to be played between 14th to 16th December 2018.
Thereafter, the return leg at St. Mary’s stadium will come a week later (between 21st -23rd December 2018).
The winner on aggregate will qualify for the group stage of the 2018/19 CAF Champions League.
