Midfielder Moses Ndhodhi Waiswa was on Friday named Vipers SC best player for the month of October.
The creative midfielder has been in scintillating form throughout this year playing a vital role in the success of the club.
His brilliant performance in October helped the Venoms maintain its fine start to the season, winning two games (SC Villa and Nyamityobora) and drawing once against Kirinya Jinja SS.
Waiswa who has scored two goals this season struck home from a free kick in Vipers SC 3-1 win over SC Villa at Mandela National stadium.
Besides club duty, the crafty midfielder has also been influential at the National team helping the Cranes qualify for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
He played in the two games against Lesotho in October where Uganda won 3-0 at home and 2-0 away in Maseru.
The player of the month accolade comes with a plaque and 20 bags of cement from Vipers SC sponsors Hima Cement.
Waiswa lauded his teammates and the coaching staff for his performance indicating it has been a result of working as unit.
“I thank my fellow players and the coaches because we work together as a team. I also thank our sponsors Hima Cement for the initiative to award us monthly because it motivates us to work harder.” he said.
