KJSS vs Vipers SC

4.30pm

Jinja

Vipers have made a better start to the 2018-19 StarTimes Uganda Premier League winning their first four games unlike the past three seasons.

They beat Ndejje University, Maroons FC, Nyamityobora and SC Villa and will be gunning for their fifth tomorrow against Kirinya Jinja SSS.

However, Javier Martinez Espinoza’s side face an uphill task of seeking their maiden away victory over the Jinja based outfit.

Two of those previous visits saw Kirinya win 1-0 while the Venoms had to come from behind to draw 1-1 last season thanks to Moses Waiswa’s long range strike.

Charles Ayiekho’s charges have blown hot and cold and their recent 0-3 heavy home defeat to OnduparakaFC was unbelievable hence will come all out to attack the Venoms.

“They are a stubborn side that we cannot take lightly. We have to take the game to them from the start and our team will not let complacency set in,” Vipers striker Dan Sserunkuma stated.

Meanwhile, Vipers has not scored more than one goal against Kirinya; 1-0 has always been the margin with which the Venoms have won while the stalemate in May ended 1-1 in Bugembe.
